Terms of Service

1. What Answero Is

Answero is a platform that lets creators (“Creators”) accept paid questions from their audience (“Askers”) and respond with personal, written answers. Creators set up a public page, Askers pay to ask a question, and Creators answer within a guaranteed timeframe or the Asker is automatically refunded. 2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create a Creator account or submit a paid question on Answero. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Accounts

3.1 Creator Accounts

To use Answero as a Creator, you must register for an account and provide accurate, current information, including a valid email address and a connected Stripe account for receiving payments. You’re responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

3.2 Askers

Askers do not need to create an Answero account. By submitting a question and payment through a Creator’s Answero page, you agree to these Terms as they apply to you.

4. Payments, Pricing, and Plans

• Askers pay Creators directly for each question submitted, via Stripe Checkout. Answero does not hold Asker funds.
• Creators receive payment via Stripe Connect. Answero does not take a percentage of Creator earnings. Creators are responsible for Stripe’s standard processing fees (currently 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction, subject to change by Stripe).
• Creators may use Answero on a Free plan (subject to monthly usage limits and fixed pricing tiers as described on our pricing page) or upgrade to a paid “Pro” subscription plan, billed on a recurring basis via Stripe.
• We may change our pricing or plan features at any time. We’ll give existing subscribers reasonable notice of material changes that affect their current plan.
• You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your use of the Service or your earnings through it. Answero does not provide tax advice and is not responsible for a Creator’s tax obligations.

5. The 48-Hour Guarantee

When an Asker submits a paid question, the Creator has 48 hours from the moment of payment to respond. If the Creator does not respond within that window, the Asker is automatically issued a full refund by Answero’s system. This is processed automatically and does not require the Asker to make a request. Once a question is refunded under this guarantee, the Creator can no longer respond to or be paid for that question.

6. Creator Responsibilities and Content

• Creators are solely responsible for the content, accuracy, and quality of the answers they provide. Answero does not review, verify, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy, safety, or suitability of any answer given by a Creator.
• If you are giving advice in a professional capacity (health, fitness, financial, legal, medical, psychological, or similar), you are responsible for ensuring your advice complies with any applicable professional, licensing, or regulatory requirements in your jurisdiction and the jurisdiction of the person you’re advising. Answero is a communications and payments platform — it is not a substitute for licensed professional advice, and we make no representation that any Creator on the platform is licensed, qualified, or insured to give the advice they provide.
• You may not use Answero to provide medical, legal, or financial advice that you are not legally permitted to give, or to make claims that are false, misleading, or fraudulent.
• You retain ownership of the content of your answers. By submitting content through Answero, you grant us a limited license to store, transmit, and display that content as necessary to operate the Service (e.g., delivering your answer to the Asker by email).

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not use Answero to:

• Post, request, or provide illegal content or services;
• Harass, threaten, defraud, or deceive any other user;
• Submit or solicit sexually explicit content involving minors, or any other illegal content;
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent Answero’s payment system (e.g., directing Askers to pay outside the platform to avoid fees);
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, credentials, or qualifications;
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, at our discretion, with or without notice.

8. Referral Program

Answero’s referral program allows eligible Creators to earn a commission for referring other Creators who subscribe to a paid plan. Commission rates, eligibility, and duration are described on our referral program page and may change at any time. We reserve the right to withhold or reclaim referral commissions in cases of fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms.

9. Refunds

Refunds for paid questions (the 48-hour Guarantee) and refunds for Pro subscription payments are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

10. Intellectual Property

The Answero name, logo, website, and platform are the property of Answero. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service without our written permission.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

Answero is not responsible for, and disclaims all liability relating to, the content, accuracy, or consequences of any answer provided by a Creator to an Asker.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Answero and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100 USD.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Answero from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

14. Termination

You may stop using Answero and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or suspected fraudulent or illegal activity.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales, unless applicable consumer protection law in your country of residence grants you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll notify users by email or via a notice on the Service. Continued use of Answero after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
